Two post medieval extractive pits are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to the southeast of Wellwood Farm (1-2). One is marked as an Old Chalk Pit on the OS 1st edition map. They were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
