Summary
A series of parallel lynchets is visible as low earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to the northeast of Furze Lane Cottage. They are considered to be the remains of medieval strip lynchets and were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

A series of parallel lynchets is visible as low earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to the northeast of Furze Lane Cottage (1-3). The five terraces are considered to be the remains of medieval strip lynchets and were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
