Full Description

The probable site of a prehistoric ditched enclosure is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the north of Coombe Farm (1). It is rectilinear, 45m across and was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP. The site lies on a ridge just over 1km ro the southeast of the prehistoric enclosures described in MDO37969. A large pit, possibly of much later date cuts into the northern enclosing ditch.
