Pit shown on the 1st epoch Ordnance Survey map, on which it is described as 'Gravel Pit'. The pit and additional workings to the east were digitally plotted from lidar imagery during the Dorset Stour NMP (1). The site appears to be undeveloped and covered in scrubby vegetation (2).
