Full Description

Pit shown on the 1st epoch Ordnance Survey map, on which it is described as 'Gravel Pit'. The gravel pit was much enlarged in the early 20th century (1), it was digitally plotted from lidar imagery during the Dorset Stour NMP (2). The site was developed for housing by 1951 (3).
