Full Description
A unit of narrow ridge and furrow is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 to the east of Peace Farm (1). The ploughed ridges run roughly north-south and were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP. They are considered to be the remains of 19th century ploughing but a more recent origin is possible. The cultivation marks have since been levelled and are no longer visible on the latest Google Earth imagery.
