A large hollow, 28m across, is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to the north of Purcombe Farm. It is marked on the OS 1st edition map and considered to be a dewpond. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Full Description

A large hollow, 28m across, is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to the north of Purcombe Farm (1-2). It is marked on the OS 1st edition map and considered to be a dewpond. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP. It still retains water on the recent Google Earth images.
