Summary
A hollow, 22m across, is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery to the west of Paddock's Cross. It lies on the edge of a modern field on the intersection with a now removed field boundary (marked on the OS 1st Edition map). It is considered to be a post medieval extractive pit or dewpond and was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
