A hollow, 40m across, is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to the south of Great Bluntshay Farm (1-2). It is marked on the OS 1st Edition map straddling two fields and is considered to be a post medieval extractive pit or dewpond. It was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
