Summary
A hollow, 38m across, is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to the northeast of Sansom's Cross. It is not marked on the OS 1st edition map and is considered likely to be be a post medieval extractive pit. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

A hollow, 38m across, is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to the northeast of Sansom's Cross (1-2). It is not marked on the OS 1st edition map and is considered likely to be be a post medieval extractive pit. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
