Summary
A hollow, 30m across, is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery to the south of Ashlands Coppice. It is marked as an Old Clay Pit on the OS 1st edition map and is therefore considered to be a post medieval extractive pit. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Full Description
A hollow, 30m across, is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs to the south of Ashlands Coppice (1-2). It is marked as an Old Clay Pit on the OS 1st edition map and is therefore considered to be a post medieval extractive pit. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
