A hollow, 15m across, is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs to the west of Ashlands Coppice (1-2). It is not marked on the OS 1st edition map and is considered to be a post medieval extractive pit or dewpond. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
