A small round mound is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 on the brow of Jan's Hill at Denhay Cross. The mound is 12m across and of uncertain date, it is potentially the site of a Bronze Age round barrow. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
