Summary

A circular hollow is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs to the south of Pilsdon Dairy Farm. It is 10m across and potentially the site of a Second World War bomb crater. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Full Description

A circular hollow is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs to the south of Pilsdon Dairy Farm (1). It is 10m across and potentially the site of a Second World War bomb crater. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP. The site has since been levelled and is no longer visible on Google Earth imagery. Four similar features lie 580m to the northeast and are described in MDO38277.
