Summary

Three near-circular hollows are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to the west of Lowness Coppice, Netherbury. They are surrounded by narrow banks and may be historic dewponds or second world war bomb craters. The features were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Full Description

Three near-circular hollows are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to the west of Lowness Coppice, Netherbury (1-2). They are surrounded by narrow banks and may be historic dewponds or second world war bomb craters. The features were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
