A small area of parallel ridging is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to the north of Chideock Castle. This is an area marked as orchard on the OS 1st edition map. The features are considered to be of medieval or post medieval origin and were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
