Summary
Parallel cultivation marks are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948. They are associated with a field lynchet and are considered to be the remains of medieval ridge and furrow cultivation. The features have since been levelled although the lynchet is still visible on photographs taken in 2002. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Full Description
Parallel cultivation marks are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 (1). They are associated with a field lynchet and are considered to be the remains of medieval ridge and furrow cultivation.
