Summary

A linear ditched feature is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs running north-south to the west of Axen Farm. The feature is considered to be a field boundary or trackway of medieval or later date. It was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Full Description

The possible remains of two medieval strip lynchets are visible as low rounded earthworks on aerial photographs on the northeastern slopes of Henwood Hill (1-2). They run roughly NW-SE and were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
