Summary
A series of parallel ditched linear features are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1963 to the east of the River Lyme at Colway Manor. They are considered to be drainage ditches associated with the orchard which is marked at this location on the OS 1st edition map. The features are associated with a number of field boundary fragments and were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Full Description
A series of parallel ditched linear features are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1963 to the east of the River Lyme at Colway Manor (1). They are considered to be drainage ditches associated with the orchard which is marked at this location on the OS 1st edition map (2). The features are associated with a number of field boundary fragments and were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
