Summary
A large hollow, 70m across, is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery to the southwest of Berne Cottage. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP. It is possibly the site of a post medieval extractive pit although a natural origin cannot be ruled out.
