Summary
Three small circular hollows (5m across) are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 on Stonebarrow Hill. They are regularly spaced, 18m apart, in a linear formation. The features are considered likely to be the sites of Second World War bomb craters. They were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Full Description
Three small circular hollows (5m across) are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 on Stonebarrow Hill (1). They are regularly spaced, 18m apart, in a linear formation. The features are considered likely to be the sites of Second World War bomb craters. They were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP. The area is now under trees and the features no longer visible on the most recent Google Earth imagery.
