Please read our guidance about the use of Dorset Historic Environment Record data.
Summary
An undated rectilinear ditched field system to the north of Lower House Farm is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1947. Morphologically this is similar to rectilinear, 'brick-shaped' Romano-British field systems and it may be prehistoric in date, although this is not certain. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
