Monument record MDO38555 - Historic field boundaries, Knapp Farm, Broadwindsor
Please read our guidance about the use of Dorset Historic Environment Record data.
Summary
Historic banked and ditched field boundaries to the south of Knapp Farm are visible as earthworks on the latest Lidar survey and, less clearly, on aerial photographs of the 1940s and 1970s. Their regular linear form suggests a post medieval origin, although an earlier date is possible. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
