A series of linear ditched features are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs in the vicinity of Monkton Wyld. They are considered likely to be of post medieval origin, probably field boundaries, drainage ditches and trackways. The features have partially been obscured by the modern plantation of Monkton Wyld Wood but may still be extant. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
