Two banked field boundaries of medieval or post medieval origin are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 to the east of Higher Wyld Farm (1). They form part of a wider system of small irregular fields and orchards marked on the OS 1st edition map which have since been removed. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP. The features have been levelled and are no longer visible as earthworks on Google Earth imagery.
