Full Description
A unit of probable post medieval ridge and furrow to the southeast of Burstock Grange, Burstock, is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in the 1940s (1). The narrow cultivation marks appear to respect an enclosure of probable post medieval origin (MDO38736) and may be contemporary with this, although an early 20th century date is also possible. The site is under pasture in an aerial photograph taken in 1971 (2) and no longer visible on this or the latest Google Earth imagery (3). The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
