Full Description

The site of a post medieval extractive pit (30m across) is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 to the west of Stubb's Farm (1). The feature was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP. It has since been levelled and is no longer visible as an earthwork on recent Google Earth imagery (2).
