Summary

A series of parallel linear ditched features are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 to the east of Bowshot Coppice. The features are considered to be post medieval drainage ditches, they were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Full Description

A series of parallel linear ditched features are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 to the east of Bowshot Coppice (1). The features are considered to be post medieval drainage ditches, they were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP. The features have since been levelled and are no longer visible on recent Google Earth imagery (2).
