Monument record MDO38650 - Historic field boundaries, Whetham Farm, Broadwindsor
Please read our guidance about the use of Dorset Historic Environment Record data.
Summary
Historic field boundaries to the south of Whetham Farm are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of the 1940s. Their regular rectilinear form suggests a probable post medieval origin but as they are located within a wider field pattern of broadly medieval origin an earlier date is possible. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
