Summary
Two units of post medieval cultivation marks to the north of Whetham Farm are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of the 1940s. The relatively narrow width of the cultivation marks suggests a probable post medieval date, although an earlier date is possible. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Full Description
Two units of historic cultivation marks or post medieval narrow ridge and furrow to the north of Whetham Farm are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of the 1940s (1). The relatively narrow width of the cultivation marks suggests a probable post medieval date, although an earlier date is possible. The site is no longer visible on the latest Google Earth imagery (2), with the easternmost unit now under tree cover. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
