Summary

Four small hollows are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to the north of Bridge Farm. They are between 14m and 28 m cross and marked as solid features on the OS 1st edition map. The features are considered likely to be extractive pits or dewponds of post medieval origin. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Full Description

Four small hollows are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to the north of Bridge Farm (1-2). They are between 14m and 28m across and marked as solid features on the OS 1st edition map (3). The features are considered likely to be extractive pits or dewponds of post medieval origin. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
