Two post medieval extractive pits to the west of Coleplay Cottage, Burstock, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of the 1940s (1) and on the latest Lidar imagery (2).The site is visible on the latest Google Earth imagery (3) as an area of rough disturbed ground. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
