Summary
Linear ditched features are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 to the south of Sheepwash Farm. They curve southwards from Grandfather's Knap lane for 220m before turning east towards Higher Coombe. They are considered likely to be trackways of medieval or later date and were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Full Description
Linear ditched features are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 to the south of Sheepwash Farm (1). They curve southwards from Grandfather's Knap lane for 220m before turning east towards Higher Coombe. They are considered likely to be trackways of medieval or later date (or semi-natural drainage features) and were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP. The features have generally been levelled by ploughing although the northern section is still extant on Google Earth imagery (2).
