Full Description
A series of possible historic banked field boundaries to the north of Moorlands Farm, Broadwindsor, are visible as earthworks on the latest Lidar imagery (1). The earthworks appear as long low banks and lynchets, running across the contours and quite closely parallel to each other. This arrangement may suggest a potential medieval origin but a later date is also possible. The site is not visible on the latest Google Earth imagery (2). The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
