Summary

Bank and ditched field boundaries of medieval or later date are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 to the south west of Northay, adjacent to Abbott's Wootton Lane. The features were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Full Description

Bank and ditched field boundaries of medieval or later date are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 to the south west of Northay Farm, adjacent to Abbott's Wootton Lane (1). The features were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP. The site has been plough-levelled and is no longer visible on recent Google Earth imagery (2).
