Fragments of a bank and ditched field system of medieval or later date are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 to the north of Knap Farm. The features cover an area of 40 hectares; they were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Fragments of a bank and ditched field system of medieval or later date are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 to the north of Knap Farm (1). The features cover an area of 40 hectares; they were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP. The site has been plough-levelled and only faint traces remain visible on recent Google Earth imagery (2).
