Summary
Fragments of a bank and ditched field system of possible medieval origin are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 to the north west of Guppy. The features include possible ridge and furrow cultivation and cover an area of 60 hectares; they were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Full Description
Fragments of a bank and ditched field system of possible medieval origin are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 to the north west of Guppy (1). The features include possible ridge and furrow cultivation and cover an area of 60 hectares. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP; it has since been plough-levelled and is not visible on recent Google Earth imagery (2).
