Summary
Two units of parallel ridging are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 to the south of Prime Coppices. The features are considered to be historic in date, possibly medieval or later cultivation marks or plantation ridging. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Full Description
Two units of parallel ridging are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 to the south of Prime Coppices (1). The features are considered to be historic in date, possibly medieval or later cultivation marks or plantation ridging. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP. The eastern area of ridging has since been plough-levelled and the ridging is no longer visible on recent Google Earth imagery (2), the western area now lies under trees.
