Summary
A prehistoric ditched enclosure is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the south of Beech Clump, Bryanston. It is an irregular curvilinear shape and appeats to have a smaller, internal assymetric rectilinear enclosure. It is associated with an extensive field system which is described separately in MDO44886 and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM Project.

Full Description
A roughly circular concentric enclosure roughly 180 metres across. The northern part of the enclosure is covered by woodland, and the southern part in an arable field. Cropmarks indicate subdivisions within the enclosure. <1>
A prehistoric ditched enclosure is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the south of Beech Clump, Bryanston [2]. It is an irregular curvilinear shape, 165m across east-west, and the norther portion of the enclosure is not visible (under Beech Clump). Internally is a smaller assymetric rectilinear enclosure (49m by 44m) with a possible east-facing entrance. The enclosures are associated with an extensive field system which is described separately in MDO44886 and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM Project.
