Summary
A unit of narrow cultivation ridges is visible as earthworks to the northeast of Specket Cottage on aerial photographs of the 1940s and 1970s. The narrow form of the cultivation ridges suggest a probable post medieval origin, although an early 20th century date is also possible. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Full Description
A unit ofnarrow cultivation ridges is visible as earthworks to the northeast of Specket Cottage on aerial photographs of the 1940s (1) and 1970s (2). The narrow form of the cultivation ridges suggest a probable post medieval origin, although an early 20th century date is also possible. The site is no longer visible on the latest Google Earth imagery (3). The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
