A series of low earthworks, possibly associated with the medieval manor house at Lower Abbott's Wooton Farm, are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1948. The features include a large oblong platform or terrace (58m by 22m across) and series of associated scarps or field boundaries. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP. The features are still visible as low earthworks on recent lidar imagery.
