Summary

A scatter of linear ditched features are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948, to the north east of Whitchurch Bridge, Whitchurch Canonicorum. The features are considered to be associated with post medieval drainage and were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

A scatter of linear ditched features are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948, to the north east of Whitchurch Bridge, Whitchurch Canonicorum (1). The features are considered to be associated with post medieval drainage and were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP. They are still visible as extant scarps on recent Google Earth imagery (2).
