Summary
A unit of post medieval narrow ridge and furrow is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 to the west of Wakeleys Farm. The features are ruler straight and may be the result of 19th century steam ploughing although a 20th century origin is possible. The features were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP. The field has ridging still extant on lidar imagery although this may be recent late 20th century in origin.

Full Description
A unit of post medieval narrow ridge and furrow is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 to the west of Wakeleys Farm (1).
