Full Description

A large post medieval extractive pit to the west of Folly Cottage, Broadwindsor, is visible as earthworks around 75m in length on aerial photographs of the 1940s (1). The site is still visible on the latest Google Earth imagery (2). The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
