Summary
A large extractive pit of probable post medieval origin is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1947 to the north of Water House Farm. The pit is 95m across and has since been levelled, it is no longer visible on recent Google Earth imagery. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Full Description
