Summary
A series of probable medieval strip lynchets to the southeast of Stoke Knapp Farm, Stoke Abbott, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of the 1940s. The lynchets are located along the contour line on a west facing slope. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Full Description
A series of linear banks or lynchets to the southeast of Stoke Knapp Farm, Stoke Abbott, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of the 1940s (1). The lynchets are located along the contour line on a west facing slope and probably represent former medieval strip lynchets. They are still visible on the latest Google Earth imagery (2). The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
