Summary
A series of linear banks and lynchets to the northeast of Lewesden Farm, Stoke Abbott, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of the 1940s. The lynchets probably represent former medieval strip lynchets. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Full Description
A series of linear banks and lynchets to the northeast of Lewesden Farm, Stoke Abbott, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of the 1940s (1). The lynchets may represent former medieval strip lynchets. The site is under scrub on the latest Google Earth imagery (2) but there is some indication the lynchets survive in part. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
