Full Description

Perdendicular ditched features are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs in the field to the west of Dry Close Plantation (1). They are considered to be field boundaries or drainage features of medieval or later date and were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP. They have been partially levelled but some are still visible on recent lidar imagery (2).
