Summary
Perdendicular bank and ditched features are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs in the field immediately to the west of the road, east of Castlewood Farm. They are considered to be field boundaries or drainage features of medieval or later date and were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Full Description
Perdendicular bank and ditched features are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs in the field immediately to the west of the road, east of Castlewood Farm (1). They are considered to be field boundaries or drainage features of medieval or later date and are associated with cultivation marks described in MDO39011. The features were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP; they have been partially levelled but some are still visible on recent lidar imagery (2).
