Summary
A small hollow is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 on heathland to the north of Fir Grove Farm. The feature is considered likely to be of post medieval or early 20th century date; probably an extractive pit. It now lies under modern plantation. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

Full Description
A small hollow is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 on heathland to the north of Fir Grove Farm (1). The feature is considered likely to be of post medieval or early 20th century date; probably an extractive pit. It now lies under modern plantation and is no longer visible, no accessment could be made as the the current condition of the monument (2). The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
